My Favorite Flash Drive
December 19th, 2008 Posted in Computers
I've had an OCZ Rally 4GB Flash Drive for over a year. It is fast, reliable and durable. It even survived a washing cyle in a washing machine last week. I think it is about time to upgrade it. There are 32GB models available almost cheaper than what I paid for this model.
If you are using high capacity flash drives to store your private and/or important information, make sure to use an encryption software. It really pretty easy to lose or forget these drives. Mine did not come with one. I downloaded TrueCrypt which works pretty well. If you use TrueCrypt, make sure to properly mount and unmount the drive to avoid data corruption.
